We are looking for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our bank team. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager, Trevor Money.

We believe in treating people as quickly and carefully as possible, helping them to feel better, faster.
Our hospital specialises in a variety of different surgical specialties, including:
- orthopaedic surgery such as foot, ankle, hip or knee surgery
- eye surgery

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for caring individuals to fulfil the following roles in our bank Theatre team:
- Bank Theatre Practitioner
- Bank Surgical First Assistant
- Bank Scrub Practitioner
- Bank Recovery Practitioner
- Bank Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner
- Bank Anaesthetic Practitioner
You will be either a part 1 NMC Nurse with scrub practitioner theatre experience or an HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
As well as being up to date with current research and developments in theatre practise you will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department. You will be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment. This role will enable you to develop and execute the correct procedures for ordering, receiving and transfer of blood and blood products as well as blood conservation.
