Santa sweaters help to raise money for children’s charity

Team members at North East London NHS Treatment Centre were full of the Christmas spirit on Friday (14 December) as they put on their festive jumpers to raise money for the charity Save the Children.

Visitors to the centre were greeted with the sight of reindeer, penguins, elves and Santa, with the clinic teams wearing festive headwear and socks to join in with the fundraising.

Hospital director John O’Brien said: “The day certainly got us in the mood for Christmas: the patients were delighted at the cheery look that welcomed them in reception and throughout the centre.

“Christmas is the time of year for children, and this is a wonderful charity that supports children, at home and abroad, who need our support every day of the year. I’m very proud of the team for yet another great fundraising effort.”
